Taking the Floor

The floor of Paleis van Mieris, a former depot of Rijksmuseum, bears traces of lines. White lines that defined where cars should be parked and objects should be placed. Three people started chalking these lines white again on different spots in the space, until all lines were visible again.

The performance Taking the Floor took place on Sunday 6 December 2015 at art collective Paleis van Mieris, Amsterdam. It was part of the group exhibition Level Up in Paleis van Mieris, from 27 November to 6 December 2015.
