For this transforming exhibition I took apart the diptych Something to hold The two black and white photo’s with different stages of a wooden sphere in the making could be seen one after the other. During MILK the first photo was accompanied by a wooden sphere on the floor, accompanied by an instruction for the audience: Push the sphere gently and let it roll across the floor until it comes to rest in a new spot. During WATER the second photo was accompanied by a woven basket mirroring the size of the sphere, which contained coal dust that percolated through the maze.
